This is, what, EP 5? Never before have I heard or had issues with ALL CC besides deco being broken. Looks like a lot of creators are going to have to go back and fix everything they made. Mods being broken and needing to be patched...yeah, okay, I can understand that. But objects?
I know this may seem like something stupid, but have you tried the "new" install for the Sims 3 downloads? Mod the Sims 2 brought up a really big glitch that people were having that caused anyone who used the old method of downloading CC to lose their ability to use those objects. They would get the "no interactions available" basically, making the object unusable.
If you don't know how you installed it, or how to install it the "new" way, here's a link:

It's really straight forward so it shouldn't cause you any issues.
If this isn't your problem, and I am sure it probably isn't, then what may be happening is a single CC object is causing your game to glitch out. This object could have code matching another object that this EP includes. Objects are just as likely, unfortunately, to crash a game as a mod. Especially objects with new interactions that coincide or are coded over an interaction that was just added in. Considering how densely coded this EP happens to be, it isn't surprising that some CC could cause problems.
Unfortunately, there's no one test to figure out which one is doing what. I would recommend the program that was created to check your CC for bad downloads, but I am concerned that it may not function properly until updated for Pets.
What do you think?
