Pets picture stuck on sim detail while playing **Attention Sims Helpers**

Question

I recently (tried) to reinstall all my sims games after reformatting my computer, and just downloaded the patch that popped on my screen today (June 10, 2013), even though it wasnt for my pets, and it might just be from reinstalling everything (which it shouldnt at ALL) but now, doing the "Canine Companion" lifetime wish, every time I adopt a new dog, that dog's picture gets stuck on the sim detail at the bottom of the play screen. I cant access the lifetime wish panel, but can access everything else. I've done it twice consecutively within 10 min, where ive had to restart my game to fix the bug. I know its small, but it shouldnt be happening at all.

Help would be much appreciated, or a patch, or something

i had something similar with aliens if i read you right... would click on the alien to do x then go click to another sim to do x but it was always "stuck" to the alien,closed down my game and launcher i went to my documents EA/the sims 3 cleared the cache files that fixed it for me

•compositorCache.package

•scriptCache.package •simCompositorCache.package

•socialCache.package.package

it's safe to delete these files as a new ones will regenerate
