Anyone knows how to fix this ? I played the world “Setra” before on my 2020 M1 MacBook Air with no issues. I had to uninstall and re install the sims 3 including setra but now there is a pink outline that won’t go away. Everything was the same as before, I’m not sure what caused this to happen. Any one else experiencing this ??
@MyaJo816 Have you disabled Advanced Rendering in the graphics options, or perhaps it's disabled by default now? If so, please enable it from the Main Menu, then quit to desktop before loading a save.
There's a separate issue with a pink outline around the edge of the game window and along a couple sides of the sim portrait in the user interface. This is a characteristic of M1 Macs, or perhaps more accurately Rosetta, and as far as I know, has no workaround. But the buildings on the map should not look pink.
