Please help. A serious error has occurred while loading Sunset Valley. New Game.

I recently got Sims 3 on my laptop and now whenever I try to play (aka start a new game, as I have no current games on it) it just goes black and gives me the message "A serious error has occurred wh...

I'm going to try the uninstalling and CCleaner. Thank you both of you for what you could do, hopefully, this helps it, if not I'll try and contact someone from Origin. Again thank you both so much for trying to help. I appreciate it.

Ok so now I have reinstalled the Sims 3, now the error message I'm getting is pretty much the same but instead, it's Sunset Valley World instead...
