Problem deleting an object

I have been playing Sims3 and just recently downloaded Sims3 Supernatural (not sure if this is relevant or not but i'm throwing it in there anyways) anyways I was doing some rearranging in my Sims ho...

    You can't delete with object - delete ?

    You can also try the cheat moveObjects on while in buy mode and then sell it (same procedure to enter the cheat, just type moveObjects on this time.

    Do the following

    1. Open the cheat console by pressing ctl-shift-c
    2. There should now be a bar at the top of your screen
    3. Type testingcheatsenabled true
    4. Shift-Click on the fridge and choose Object - Delete
    5. Fridge should now be gone
    6. Open the cheat console by pressing ctl-shift-c again
    7. Type testingcheatsenabled false

      Followed your steps, got the bar and typed in what you said and it still wont let me it says the same thing.
