Problem with walls

Hello,

For the past few minutes, the walls of all my houses (in construction mode and in life mode too) have been lowering themselves. It's impossible to apply wallpaper and visualize it. I don't understand what's happening. No matter how many times I turn up the walls with the express button, they still go down by themselves.

Can someone help me ?
Thanks

  • @Chacha8719  Is there a sim standing behind the wall?  If so, go into live mode and move them away.

Otherwise, please post a couple of screenshots.

    Thank you for your reply.
This bug persists both on houses with Sims and on empty houses. Every time I click on an empty house to switch to Construction Mode, I hear the "click" as if I had clicked on the button to lower the walls. When I put the walls back up, if I click on a button, they lower themselves. I just don't get it. It's as if the game has "memorized" that high walls are forbidden.

P.S: I don't think a screenshot will help for this case, maybe a video but I don't know if I can post it here.
(Sorry for my english, I'm french)

@Chacha8719  Does clicking the Home or End key change the wall mode?  I don't know whether the keyboard controls are different on a French keyboard, so you might need to try a few different keys.

If that doesn't help, please try a new save and let me know whether it's affected.  If it is, move the entire Sims 3 folder out of Documents > Electronic Arts and try another new save.  The game will spawn a new Sims 3 folder with none of your existing content, but your old content will be intact in the old folder and can be restored later.
