Re: Cannot download the quantum power pack

I redeemed my code. There was a success message.

In my "buyhistory" (I guess thats its name in english) I´m able to see the "Quantum-Powerpack" but when I click on its name or on the picture, I get that message I posted earlier. When I click on "Download" my Sims 3 Launcher should open and download it but instead, nothing happens.

I did a little investigation myself and here is what I found:

When you go to the detail page of the Quantum Power Pack, you get the 404 message. I will forward this information to the Sims 3 web team.

But you should still be able to download the Quantum Power Pack (I'm downloading mine at the moment). And this is how you do it:

When you go into your Purchase History you should be able to see the Quantum Power pack like this:

Don't click on the picture or on name but on the download button underneath the picture. This should start the download.

I have no idea why but the Launcher had a problem I guess.
Had to close the Launcher with task manager and reopen it.
Download works fine now.

I had no trouble redeaming the quantum power pack but when i try to download it to the sims start menu it loads and then comes up with an error message that says something along the lines of error while downloading. I have gone to my payment history and pressed download but always get an error message. Have tried closing and ropening start menu and restarted comp no luck!!

Is your game updated to the latest version? Did you try a different browser?

404 Page: You get that since there' no page for the set. Just click on the download button to download.

Before they changed the purchase history around, the picutre/name was not clickable for those itmes since the isn't a page associated with it. You just donwload it from your PH. Seems they changed that and not you get the 404 page when you click on the pic.

hi i downloaded the quantum power pack and i keep getting a msg asking me to make sure i have the latest software updates and i do, what can i do to make it work?

What is your base game version right now ?

Open the launcher and check the number in the lower left corner.

If you're not at 1.63, please update your game.
