@lorica1 Try installing your store content into a clean user data folder. Move your entire Sims 3 folder out of Documents\Electronic Arts and onto your desktop, open the launcher to create a clean folder, and download and install one store item. Check in-game to make sure it's still installed. If it is, you can install a handful of items (no more than about six) and check again. It's always best to install content in small batches, since the launcher doesn't handle large amounts of data very well. Worlds are large and should be installed separately, not in a batch with anything else.
If you get all your store content installed and working, you can move the rest of your content from the old user data folder to the new one. Here's a list of everything you'll find in that folder, along with explanations, so you'll know what you might want to keep:
