@PrincessWolffie  Just to be clear, the Super Patch should never be run on an Origin/Windows install, since, as you said, Origin has already fully patched the game.  In fact, running the Super Patch can break this kind of install.  Please make sure the game itself still launches and you can load a new save; if you can't, that needs to be addressed first.

As long as the game is running, you shouldn't have to uninstall and reinstall though.  Store content works just fine in Origin installs, at least most of the time, and when it doesn't, reinstalling isn't usually helpful.  What you can do, if you haven't already, is move your Sims 3 folder out of Documents\Electronic Arts and onto your desktop.  When you open the launcher, a clean folder will spawn with no content.  Don't add anything to it yet; just see whether you can download one item from the store.

If this still doesn't work, try a different browser; Firefox and Internet Explorer work better with the store than Chrome.  One possible issue is that files get corrupted during the download process, but using a different browser should help.  And try initiating the download both ways: by clicking the Download button directly on the item, and by checking the box next to the item and clicking Download in the upper right corner of your screenshot.  You can also try to download directly from the product page for the item in question.

I realize some or even all of this might be a repeat of what you've already heard.  But since you didn't mention the other approaches you tried, I listed the most commonly helpful steps.  If they don't or didn't work, let me know.

By the way, do you happen to have multiple EA/Origin accounts, for example one tied to the store and another that installed your game?  If the product key for the game install doesn't match the key on file in the store, the store content won't work.

By the way, restarting your computer is the single best troubleshooting step you can take overall.  That doesn't mean resetting anything, just restarting instead of shutting down.  This fixes a number of issues without any further intervention and should always be the first step.
