Re: [Current Issue] Sims 3 "serious error" when loading save

Hello! Not sure if this issue has happened to someone else, but I just got the Sims 3 yesterday and when I tried playing it today, it would not let me get into any of the free worlds. An error message would pop up saying: "A serious error has occurred while loading 'AppaloosaPlains.world'. It is strongly recommended that you restart the application." Please see a screenshot attached below. 

I have tried with each of the free worlds and the same message would show up. I have also closed the application many times, logged out then back in, and even tried repairing the game - the message would still appear each time. 

I'd appreciate any insights or suggestions as to why this might be happening, and what to do to solve it.
