Try this if your game is link to Origin,
All you have to do is, install Origin (http://www.origin.com/download) and then click on Install for Game in your "My Games" list in Origin. It's really that simple
There is no need to redeem your product code again (and as you've seen it's not possible since the code is already tied to your Origin account).
Alternatively, if you've copied the whole game folder to your new computer, open Origin and hit Repair Install for Battlefield 3 (available via a right-click on game l). It should detect all the files instead of downloading them again.
