@noaksmom SimPoints can only be bought through the EA App or Origin, as per this announcement:
If you have a Mac, login to Origin and search for simpoints , which should take you to the correct page. If your computer runs Windows, open the EA App game library, click Sims 3, then DLC or Add-ons (whichever you see at the top of the page), and "Sims 3 Currency" should be the first entry. That's SimPoints.
