Question

I don't know if I'm being some kind of idiot, but I cannot get the sims 3 to run at all.

I acquired a new laptop on windows 11, installed the EA app, downloaded everything and it just crashes. I have an AMD ryzen processor so the alder lake thing won't do anything and nothing works. I am at my wits end because I love this game and I haven't been able to play it for so long because of stupid computer updates that just destroy everything.

I feel at this stage building a time machine to go back to 2010 would be easier than trying to make this work
