You can buy the parasol and the umbrella in "Buy Mode (Entertainment - Miscellaneous Entertainment):

 

 

Just put it in the inventory of your Sim and he/she will use them automatically.

 

You can buy cameras when you travel to foreign countries. The best cameras can be bought in Egypt (Al Simhara).
