Re: Lucky Palms not showing up in game
@lynbotomy It sounds like you have a corrupt .ebc file in DCCache. These files are bundled store content, and when one is corrupted, some or all of its content won't show up in-game.
The quick and dirty method of fixing this is to create a new .ebc file and install Lucky Palms into it. First, open the game and go to Edit Town. Delete any venues that came with LP—the gold version includes a casino, and I think both versions also have a bistro. Then quit and use the launcher to uninstall the world. When you're done, remove your entire TS3 game folder (not just pieces, the whole thing) from Documents. It can sit on your desktop for the time being.
Open the launcher, and a clean game folder will spawn with no content. Download a fresh copy of Lucky Palms and install it. Don't install anything else at the same time; worlds are too big to be in an install batch with anything else. Launch the game and confirm that LP is available at the Main Menu. You may want to start a new save, just to make sure the world and its components installed correctly.
When you're satisfied, open DCCache in your old game folder and look at the numbers on the .ebc files. They'll be numbered in ascending order, with dcdb0.ebc (that's a zero) being the oldest. Renumber the .ebc file in your new game folder so that it's one higher than the highest in your old folder, and move it to the old folder. Then go into InstalledWorlds in your new game folder and move LP over, and move the entries in Library over as well. Now you can delete your new game folder and put your old one back.
If this doesn't work, you may have an issue with your ccmerged.package in DCBackup. This file is necessary to make premium store content work, and while it doesn't usually affect a world install, if you have the gold version of LP, that does come with a couple of premium items. You can create a new one of those as well; let me know if you'd like me to type up instructions.
