Re: Moved files not game will not load

@pinkynut  If you mean that you moved your program files, the ones in Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\ etc., then you broke your install.  A game can't be moved like that.  You may need to do a clean uninstall.

First though, you can try a workaround.  If you can't get Origin to open, uninstall it "the hard way" and then reinstall.

https://help.ea.com/en-us/help/origin/origin/manually-uninstalling-origin/

Open Origin, then My Game Library, then right-click on the Sims 3 icon and select Repair.  If this doesn't work, right-click and select Locate Game, then Repair.  If that doesn't work either, right-click and select Move Game, then move it to a different folder; you can create one just for this purpose.  (This last step doesn't always help with TS3, and will only be useful if Origin recognizes that the game is still installed, so it's best to try the other options first.)

If none of the above helps, you'll need to do a clean uninstall of TS3 with a tool like Revo Uninstaller, then reinstall.

If this isn't the issue, or you can't get Origin to open (or something else goes wrong), please run a dxdiag and attach the results to a post here.
