I had figured that would be the case. I remembered seeing posts here of people discussing pets as an issue. I've played households with pets already and adopted pets, but this was my first time making a pet in CAS and moving in. Was looking forward to playing with some animal genetics. Wanted to breed a husky and a retriever. 

Oh well. My brother is building a computer and when he finishes, he's giving me his windows laptop so I'll begin using that in a few months.
