pets & tendency to crash?

Has anyone noticed a tendency for the game to crash when playing with pets? I created a household (1 female sim + 2 dogs) and the game crashed as I was moving them into their house. Curious if the pe...

    @plumbobliving  The scenario you've described does cause a lot of crashing for people who play on Macs with integrated Intel graphics chips.  Some have reported that simply adopting the pets in the run of live play works fine; others find they need to uninstall the Pets EP entirely.  But I don't think your crash is just a random blip; at the very least, it's likely you'd get another crash if you tried to move in a newly created household that included a pet.

Thanks, Puzzle!

I had figured that would be the case. I remembered seeing posts here of people discussing pets as an issue. I've played households with pets already and adopted pets, but this was my first time making a pet in CAS and moving in. Was looking forward to playing with some animal genetics. Wanted to breed a husky and a retriever. 

Oh well. My brother is building a computer and when he finishes, he's giving me his windows laptop so I'll begin using that in a few months.
