@spear110  If this is a new Windows 10 install the game requires .net framework 3.5 to run. The download version of .net framework from Microsoft will not work for windows 10.  There is a version included with the windows 10 install. Go to control panel - programs and features - turn windows features on or off. Enable .net framework 3.5 - reboot computer. The launcher should now work.

thanks for posting the net framework info, that is good to know

I do not have windows 10 on my pc (I still just have windows 7 - my pc is older and will not run windows 10 very good)

I had found those older posts of crincrit's fixes for this problem and since @spear110 checked the solution off, I was assuming they fixed his problem - but if those links did not include the net framework info you posted - spear110 would most likely still have problems

Still doesn't work. must be another error then as i am trying to guess what it is as i can not find the game log.
