Re: Problem redeeming code.

Now this message appears, but the game is not in my purchase history so i cant download it. i bought it through Origin.

    I have the same problem I tried the codes for all of my expansion packs and it just wont work. Let me know if you've figured it out.

    @linnellingsund How old is the email? As of Windows 10 and El Capitan, these operating systems will no longer support SecuROM and SafeDisc. What does this mean to you? A new install has to use the new DRM - Origin. A reinstall will have to use Origin. If you buy a pack from Origin you will have to patch your game to use DRM of Origin. IMO this is better as now there is no install limit and you don't need a disc to play. SecuROM and SafeDisc were considered rootkits. SecuROM and SafeDisc never fully accomplished their purpose and both were poorly supported. You need to create an account in Origin and redeem the codes (base game and packs) in Origin and I would recommend installing by digital downloads. You can install from disc but you will have to use the manual 1.67 super patch then have Origin patch to version 1.69. Packs from disc will have to patch. It's not as bad as it sounds. I had to go through the conversion when I upgraded to Windows 10. My game runs without problems and I was even able to add a pack from Origin with no issues.

  • Don't feel bad I just bought The Sims™ 3 Worlds Bundle and I can't even find the thing to down load it I have repaired and Repatched and I cant even redeem the code at all

    @litalstar You can download the Origin client installer at this link - Origin installer  download - install -  and redeem code for base game. Once the code is accepted the game icon should appear in the library and you can install from there.

    i bought it through origin, ,and i have tried to downloafd it there, but it wont accept it, and i have the newest update of origin as well,i need more step to step help if im gonna get further, the email is like 3 days old or something. i Just bought it....

    @linnellingsund If you bought the game through Origin you shouldn't have to redeem the code. The game should be activated in the Origin account you were using when you bought the game. Log in using the log in and password you were using when you bought the game. The game icon should be in the library with an install button. The easiest way is you already have Origin installed, login using the same log in and password you used to buy the game and the game installer icon should be in the library pre activated. If clicking the install button in Origin does not work your may have something (antivirus, malware remover, etc) blocking Origin.

    All my other games have appeared on origin, i have done nothing different this time but in the instruction mail this is what it says

If you don’t already have an account, you can register one for FREE by selecting the "Join Now for Free" link. 3. Once you've logged into your Sims 3 Account, Select "Redeem a Code". 4. Under the Redeem a Code panel, put in your 16 digit game code. 5. Next, go to your Purchase History and select "Download" underneath the game icon to install the content. 6. Follow the on-screen prompts to complete the installation process.

    i have tried all the things you mention but it still doesnt work. And neither Ea games or origin are answering my emails.
