Re: Redeem a Code not working!

We have seen an issue where this can happen. Try re-loading the page and entering the code a second time and it should work.

We are investigating the timeout internally.

    Having this issue currently. Reloaded numerous times. Signed in and out, still just constantly loading. Tried two different codes and neither worked.

    I have the same problem with a 1000 simpoints redeem code. It keeps on loading and when i refresh and retry it stays the same.

    I am also having this problem.  I just purchased Dragon Valley for $19.99 and when I attempt to redeem the code it just

    hangs.  Reloading doesn't help.  If this isn't corrected soon I will instruct my credit card company to do a charge back.

    Bought Dragon Valley also, kept timing out - now says code already used!!! I'm going to my card provider and getting to do a chargeback
  • Just bought Sims 3 Monte Vista and Hidden Springs, redeem the code on sims 3 website won't work, it keeps loading endlessly after adding code, how to resolve this?

    Hey all, just to let you know. We found the cause of the problem you reported in this thread and have released an update to the website to address it.

    You should now be able to redeem codes properly without experiencing the endless loading.

    It seems that this is still an issue. I had purchased the same game 2 hours ago and its telling me that the code I've entered has already been used?

    I am having this issue with a code for Barnacle Bay. I type it in in the Redeem Code, and it just sits there, wheel spinning.


    I have tried clearing my cache. I have tried both Firefox and Internet Explorer. I have tried refreshing multiple times and typing in the code multiple times. I have even checked my purchase history to see if it went through even without a confirmation.

    Nothing.

    I contacted Support, and they seemed more concerned with figuring out whether my code was legit than with the problem being with the Store web site.

    I paid for this world, and I want to be able to download and install it... but it just won't redeem.

    I have exactly same problem, i bought too monte vista etc. Endless loading, i have tried to load those games several times, what to do ???

    This is still a problem. I just got Sims 3 Roaring Heights and the redeem code has the loading wheel that never ends.

    I am having the same issue. I bought a pack with Monta Vista, Hidden Springs and Chocolate fountain and the Hidden Springs and Chocolate fountain will just get stuck trying to redeem. Can somebody please help?

    I've been having the same issue. I brought Dragon Valley earlier this week. I contacted EA immediately, and they're been giving me the run around since January 2nd. Never do the chat contact it takes forever. I learned that the hard way. The first time I did the chat response they said that someone from EA would email me within 24-72 hours about my issue. They never did. As expected, I had them call me after the three days had passed. Why can we not call them directly? The customer service agent again found the issue, but couldn't fix it even after trying a second code. She then transferred me to someone in technical support. For some reason these codes are listed as being on my account, but when the technical support person entered my account, as I gave my consent, even he was baffled why they weren't showing up in my downloads. He said that he was escalating my issue up and someone would email me within 72 hours again. That's tomorrow morning. We'll see if I get a response, otherwise I'm going to have them call me back and return the world if they can't fix this issue. This is absolute insanity why this is still happening for so many people. I will update this if I get a response.
