@rose41519174  Please try disabling the Origin in-game overlay.  Hover over your username, select Application Settings, then the Origin in-game header, and disable the option at the top.

If that doesn't help, please try playing with nothing else open on your computer (except for Origin, of course).  Other apps may have overlays that interfere with Sims 3.  And if that doesn't help either, please try switching to fullscreen or windowed mode, whichever one you're not currently using.
