[Current Issue] Sims 3 Store world can't register/install

Overview This guide is for registering and installing standalone worlds from the Sims 3 Store, specifically those bought with money.  That list includes Dragon Valley, Hidden Springs, Monte Vista, ...

@puzzlezaddict I just purchased the Sims3 World bundle on EA app and it's showing as "Owned" but it's not showing up in the launcher, nor can I download it from the list in the EA app. I've checked my purchases (on EA website account- order history and it's there). I've cleared the EA cache (the lines far top left of app, under help - app recovery). Opened the launcher again. Checked the "manage add-ons" on the EA app and it's not showing, but (again) is showing on the main ea app page where the lists of games are ("You own this add-on"), but there's no download button or anything else.
Finally found that I have to register it on the sims3 (store) page, but when I tried to add the code for Monte Vista it said "Code has already been used". I was however able to redeem the codes for Hidden Springs and the choco fountain.

    @InfiniteVerve  Can you download Hidden Springs from the Store site?  It should work since it's registered there.  For Monte Vista, you'll need to get a refund, unfortunately.  Sometimes codes don't work for no apparent reason.  Feel free to link this thread to the support rep.

      @puzzlezaddict I was able to download Hidden Springs from the store site, and I have been told that they are working on getting me a refund for Monte Vista. Now I'm running into crash issues that I've never had before (ran the sims3 on this computer, same specs, settings, etc.).

        @InfiniteVerve  Please create a separate thread for the crashing issue, if you'd like help with it.  Please describe the context of the crashes and provide a dxdiag.
