i am having the exact same problem as this user, i have done a clean uninstall and reinstall, i have loaded the patch, i have changed the settings for the graphics card, and still get "unknown error ...

@puzzlezaddict okay i will download and install seasons from origin and hope that nothing goes wrong after all OUR effort. will let u know.

@amandav101  That's great to hear.  And there's nothing wrong with playing with Seasons for a bit, then introducing Late Night when you want some extra content.

Who, me?  I've just been spending a lazy rainy Sunday afternon sitting on my couch with my laptop, eating chocolate and browsing the forums.  It hardly feels like any effort at all.
