I tried but it wont work. And when i try to download on launcher it says it has been downloaded but i dont see the item on installed content so when i leave the sims and head back again through sims 3 the item on downlaod doesnt have the statues that it had been downloaded.
@Chocostar2 In the Sims 3 user folder, there's a folder called SigsCache. Try deleting everything in there.
If that doesn't help, try rebuilding your user folder. Keep using Firefox, and clear all its data. Move the Sims 3 folder out of Documents\Electronic Arts and onto your desktop and launch the game to create a new folder. Download one small store item, install it, and see whether it shows up in-game. If it does, download a world and install it, then test that too. If the world works, restart your computer and test again, just to make sure.
If everything still works, you can download and install the rest of your store content, but please do so in small batches of no more than about six items at a time. Worlds are large and should be handled on their own, not in a batch with anything else.
If this doesn't work, please let me know what antivirus you run, if any, and whether you use OneDrive.
Okay, By the way i wanted to ask do you know how i can edit other inactive houses on sims 3 for exaple I want to edit the wolff;s family but the buid buy option wont appear so i cannot edit their house
@Chocostar2 There are two options. One is to evict the household in Edit Town, edit the house to your liking, and put the sims back. They'll keep their jobs and relationships, and since they're not active, you don't need to worry about them losing any promised wishes or opportunities.
The other option is to use a cheat. Open the cheats console (crtl-shift-C) and enter "testingcheatsenabled true" without quotes, then shift-click on the lot and select Buy on This Lot or Build on This Lot. The disadvantage here is that the money will come out of your active household's funds.

Also, On sims 3 unplayed sim's houses don't have any furniture when you take a look from the outside nor the sim sometimes. Do you know how to make furniture and sims visible?
@Chocostar2 Furniture doesn't load when you're looking at a house your sim isn't visiting. That's also true if you use a mod to focus on the inactive sim. Sometimes it takes a few in-game minutes for a sim to load too. Does the furniture load if your sim visits the house?
Furniture loads when visiting , Do you know any mods that make other houses visible when u see through the windows ?
@Chocostar2 The only way to see the furniture is to "open" the house, as happens automatically when you visit. You can open an individual house with NRaas MasterController: click on the house itself, the ground, or the map tag and select NRaas > MC > Open.
However, it's best to do this for only a few houses, at most, at a time. When the house is open, the sims inside will be simulated to some degree, with the game engine needing to keep track of them constantly rather than leaving them in the state of semi-hibernation that's typical for off-screen sims. This can add a lot to the game's overhead if it involves too many sims. So unless you're playing a very small world with only a few dozen residents at most, you'll need to be selective.
If you are in fact playing such a small world, you can instead use NRaas HomeOpener to open all the houses at once. But if you remove it again, you'll need to use MC to "close" the houses afterwards, or they'll remain open.
Thanks. Btw on sims 3 there are no cashiers at festivals like none they are just not showing up as a result i cannot redeem my tickets. Do you have any solution for this?
@Chocostar2 My suggestion would be to install NRaas Register, which governs role sims. (Role sims are sims assigned to an object-giving role, plus a couple extras.) Just the presence of Register may fix the issue as the mod assigns sims to fill empty roles; this may take a sim-day or so.
Otherwise, you can click on any role-giving object, for example a register, and select NRaas > Register > Select, then choose from the list of eligible sims. You'll notice that many are homeless sims you've never seen before; the game keeps a few in reserve (and will generate new ones if these are removed) in case they become necessary. If a sim is already assigned to the object, you can remove them and assign someone else.
Hi there, there's another issue considering the Sims 3, When my sim goes to a festival and wants to buy something, the retail always refuses but somehow it does allow me to choose which item to buy, and for instance, when my sim asks something to another sim like ''Can I stay over'' the other sims refuses but somehow my sim is allowed to stay over.
@Chocostar2 It sounds like the game is using the wrong animation. I think I've seen the same with merchants, although I interpreted it as less an outright refusal than just a conversation that seemed a little off. Regardless, I wouldn't worry about it since your sims get to do what you want anyway.
Hi there, When I download mods to sims 3 for example to slow down cars, and for better lighting any mods I download do not seem to appear in the launcher and I do not why.
@Chocostar2 Mods won’t show up in the launcher, any script mods you have will be shown to you when the game reaches the save file selection/creation screen as a pop up will be displayed every time.
I see, but why some mods aren't there where you say? only 3 of them appear and the other 3 do not appear
The pop up that displays at the start will only display the script mods you have, not any other kind of mods. They should work though 🙂
