I have just removed all the doors that lead to the toilet and now my sims claim that they can't access the basement 3 and basement 4.
Please help! =D

I'm not too sure but are you sure the lift is accessible to levels 3 and 4 and that there is nothing nearby the lift (lights are particularly notorious) that could be blocking it? I'm having a similiar issue with a sim who when told to use the mirror, runs to the front of her house.

Hmmm. On the basement 4 which I was going to make it into a bar that only allow vampire.
There's only rugs around the area though.
Basement 4... There's nothing much infront of the lift though...
I can't play my Sims 3 knowing that there's an issue I can't fix =(
Google doesn't really give you much information regarding this too.....
I heard that there's a moderator or someone who can provide solution....

Yes, but that's not the issue. The problem is that the sims won't go to the levels at all.
Google wasn't particularly helpful at all, like you said - I tried numerous different wordings and nothing came up.
When you say you're making it for only certain types of sims? That options pops up with the door, right?
Could you upload the lot to the Exchange or to another website and I'll download it and see if it works in my game. Just for testing purposes.
What happens if you teleport the sim there - can they get out? To do that:
- open cheat console (shift, ctrl, c)
- type in: testingcheatsenabled true (use "false" later to turn it off)
- Hit enter and then select the sim you want
- hold ctrl and shift (or maybe just shift?) and click on the spot that you want - choose teleport me here
Your sim will materialise there - are they able to move around and stuff?
- Go to edit town
- Find the lot and click on it. There's a light bulb kind of looking thing which when you hover over it, will say "share"
- Share it and then it should after a while tell you that you can find it in your launcher
- Open your launcher and find the lot - click on it and choose upload/export (cannot remember which one it is)
- It'll pop up in your studio on the sims 3.com

Ok guys.... Apparently it works when i replace the lift from Basement 3 and Basement 4 to stairways.
My mixlogists are able to access the last 2 basement without any issues and my sims are able to go too.
The problem is : I have no idea why no sims have access to the last 2 basements with the lift at all.

ive downloaded the lot too will have a look in game later tonight
ok i've installed the lot and directed my sim to go down to the lowest basement ten mins into him arriving and seems to be i think a routing issue image one and two also one of the townies who arrived at the venue got the bathroom door block bubble even though trying to go down the floors but the good news the bars that could be reached on the different floors bars have mixoligist and bouncers except the last two basements image one is up to where the sims can get too
image 2 and 3 some of the floors ground floor and 1st lower level the sims are once directed to go to the lowest floor that bathroom door block thought bubble appears
still working on it will report back if i find what room is causing it or if it;s something else
edit typo
partial discovery some of the lifts are not lining up with each other ,entered build mode to line them up seems to be some minor issue getting my sim from from b3 to b4 edit to fix image
edit edit seems i can now get the sim to b4 after lining the lifts up just a little bit of hiccups here and there and had mixoligists on b4 but not on b3 i'll work with this again sometime tomorrow (im heading to bed )

I was thinking if it's a bug that cause the sims to walk up to the toilet when i wanted them to head to b3 or b4.
I also used spiral stairway for b2 to access b3 and a normal stairway from b3 to b4.
Am able to get bouncers and mixgolist to head to work as per normal.
I will check with the lift again.
Your welcome Rum and I were talking last night and it's possible EA does not permit the lifts to work lower than B2 but I would try making two seperate lifts floor 1 to 2 and another lift 3 to 4. If not you could always use stairs for b3 and b4. And as a last resort ask EA directly maybe they know what the issue is with the lifts on the bottom 2 floors?
also you do know there is CC in your download?!!
PS Rum. I forgot you cant even get in op's club because of the ropes they are blocking the door. I forgot I had to remove thoose. I see you sent pierce out for a night on the town and he could not get in LOL
oh he got in alright after he bribed the bouncer 😕mileylol: and the sims where able to use the lifts all the way down to b4 just need to figure out which bathroom is causing the issue and why the mixoligiost for b3 are o the premises but aren't tending the bar there are no issues from the top floors to the ground floor only when directed on the ground floor to go lower the simmies can't figure where to go, i'll be trying again in game later to see what
that will be up to the OP , the build is FAB and the other simmies where all over the place no issues with the ropes i.e. they went from one floor to another up/down Pierce even walked on the l firewalker , i will later go to game and see if i can see why or what they didn't go to the bar on b3

I tried to ask EA directly by using Live Chat but she pointed me towards Answer HQ and refuse to tell me how else should i get my solution if I can't get any in Answer HQ.
It's like they are throwing all the problems within the games into this Answer HQ where everyone is just helping each other and w're solving each other problems either by luck or by chances while they are not doing anything to help at all.
Oh yeah. Anyone know in the Barrier Rope setting. What is the 3 blank options?
I know the one below Fairy is an option for Werewolves.
The other 2 i'm not so sure.

I know I like the bar!!! But I have celeb turned off for my games so If I were to use op's bar It would be without ropes. I was just testing the floors to see if you could get from one floor to the other.

the rep may not have know about the mechanics of the game or doesnt play the game so wouldn't know how to offer help for a gameing issue ( and directed you to where you could, but you knew that already 🙂 ) most simmers know of or became aware of and othr simmrs can help with that , but i will get back to it tonight and see if i can figure out something for you

I never use chat because Im in the USA and request phone calls back but in general I have gotten quite a few reps that play the sims that are very helpful and know things
@Ellismist I did notice that your lifts don't mesh. The first 2 floors lifts are directly on top of each other while the 3rd floor is off and 3rd floor matches to the 4th floor lift.
Edit to add: Where is your dance floor with so many levels??? And do you not know about the other dance floor ??? This is a must have if you don't own it!! This comes with a dance bar and a new dance floor with a few new dances!
