Re: The Sims 3 "Re-enter and verify your Registration code"

Do you have the disc or download version of the game ? Are you starting the game through Origin or through a shortcut on your desktop ? What's your operating system ?

If you have Origin, do the games properly show up in myGames on the Origin client ?

    I have the disc but I re-installed it using the download version on origin. Im using a shortcut to open it.. I have a Windows 8 computer. And, yes, it shows up in the My Games part in the origin client.

    It takes me to the launcher, then when I press play it shows that error message thing again.

    Contact a Customer Support game advisor so they can take a look at your account to find out what's going on

    Game advisors can be found through live chat.

    1. https://help.ea.com/en/contact-us/ 
    2. Set your language to US at the bottom
    3. Click on Contact a game advisor 
    4. Describe your issue with a few words
    5. Click on Find a Solution
    6. Select Product: ex: The Sims 3 or Origin
    7. Select Issue Type: ex: Billing/Purchasing or Account Management
    8. Select Platform: PC
    9. Click Find solution
    10. Scroll down and click I still need help
    11. Click Chat Now to chat with a Game Advisor

    Well it seems like I didn't get an answer but it was worth a shot. I'll try contacting again tomorrow or soon.

    Ok nevermind I found the problem, it was with the Island Paradise expansion.
