@dragonmanahan I've split your post into its own thread in the PC tech section, since the other thread was specific to macOS.
What exact error are you getting? What kind of install is this: Origin, disc, Steam, or something else? Have you ever had Sims 3 installed on this computer before, and what kind of install was that?
