I just upgraded to windows 10 and when I launch sims 3 I'm starting A new game on Roaring Heights and I get as far as selecting my family and A house then it crashes. What can I do?

Maybe your resolutions don't match between game and options game file. right click on desktop and find out what resolution you are running in. then go so my documents, electronic arts, sims 3 and look for options.ini file. right click on that file and copy somewhere you can find easily. i usually throw it on my desktop. open the original folder in your documents file and hit ctrl f type in resolution and check to see if it matches what you are running. if not change it and dont forget the refresh rate and spaces. if this dont work just put your copied file back in original folder.
