After purchasing the sims3 and all the DLC, I registered through EA. Usually, after registration, I can find the redeem free simspot button on thesims3.com to get the simspot I deserve.But when I registered the game and all the DLC.I can't find this button.I can't get mysimspoints.
PrincesaFaith I've merged your post with the master thread for this issue, which is that the free SimPoints offer doesn't work anymore. It was only ever valid for the base game and World Adventures, plus some limited edition versions of certain packs; and there was a bug on the Store site that would add points over and over again, making it appear that other packs also granted points. But that was not intended.
At any rate, I doubt this is going to be fixed, and there's really nothing you can do about it yourself.
I bought almost all of the Sims 3 expansion packs but I didn't get the option to redeem them for SimPoints. Can anyone Help?
Doesn't seem to be "logical" to give up on something I'm entitled to just because you had a "conclusion" that it doesn't work. Broken or not, I want my points. They said themselves I'm eligible, so I'm gonna do everything i can to claim what is rightfully mine.
Jetpackwizard21 I didn't say that it was written anywhere that this offer had expired. I said that it hasn't worked in almost a year. The "expired" is the logical conclusion from that fact.
Where does it say this offer expired? I got the game because I was under the impression this would be included.
Jetpackwizard21 You haven't been scammed. This was a free offer that expired, that's all. You got the game itself for the price you paid.
There's no one to fix this, so it doesn't matter who you try to contact.
Steam support can't help me. Sims 3 support can't help me. EA forums can't help me. EA help can't help me. I tried contacting every EA office in my country, none of them I can even get a call through to in the first place. Support chat disappears for days at a time after I finally am able to contact them. There's no support emails, phone numbers, online chat, not even a fax machine I can get through to anybody that can help me. I can't even get a refund even though I have an offical EA webpage that promised me 10$ worth of simpoints for every game registered. What am I suppose to do here? I have been scammed by one of the largest gaming companies and there doesn't even seem a way to contact them.
Jetpackwizard21 I'm sorry that EA customer support gave you the runaround. But this particular offer hasn't worked in almost a year, as you can see from the longer thread into which I've merged your post. And no one on this site, including EA community managers, can override this, or add SimPoints to your account—even in the case of a mistaken duplicate purchase, a straightforward issue, the CMs always refer the user back to support.
I saw that I was eligible to get sim points if I registered my game on the Sims website. I registered my copies (bought on steam) to my EA account and my Sims account. I tried everything I could find on the internet to redeem the points so I contacted support. The support agent told me the only way they could help is if I registered the game within the last 30 days, I registered my game and DLCs roughly 2 days ago from steam, onto both my Ea account and Sims account. I bought the game in December 2024. They told I was actually registered in 2021, which is impossible because I only bought the game a few months ago? Starition This offer hasn't worked for almost a year, sorry. And it was only ever applicable to the base game and World Adventures, minus some special editions of other expansions. So you've missed out on the 1,000 points from WA but probably not anything else.
