Re: [Current Issue] Sims 3 Store world can't register/install
I've seen other posts talking about this exact occurrence while trying to solve this issue myself, but I ended up contacting EA, waited for 2 hours to connect and then spoke with two separate agents for another hour, to be told to report the bug here.
So, I was finishing my TS3 collection, getting the worlds and packs I didn't get when I was a kid. I had taken advantage of the spring sale and left downloading everything for another day. Well, I've been on a real nostalgia kick as of late and decided to install all those purchases and load them up for the first time. I navigated to my order history on the official EA website, found the codes linking to the worlds I purchased through the EA app (Roaring Heights gold, Dragon Valley, Monte Vista, Hidden Springs.) Then, I took myself to thesims3.com to input all the codes for the worlds, as they don't download like the expansions directly to the game. All codes worked, were made downloadable, EXCEPT Roaring Heights, receiving the "The code you entered has already been used. Please check the code entered and try again. If you continue to receive this error it may be that the code has already been applied. If you need further assistance, please go to Contact Us." message. Now, I just thought that maybe, since the website is so old and unkempt that I was just receiving a nonsense error since it was the first one I entered. I then entered the rest of the world's codes, each went through, so I reentered Roaring Heights and once again, I received the same error, so I contacted them. They sent me here to make a bug report.
I have to manually check in to see if I am allowed to access my purchase in a couple days, they will not be emailing me and I was not offered a refund, but I'd rather just have a working code since I bought it on sale and I'd rather not pay $35 for a 13 year old world (expansion??) for a game I'm going to have to learn to mod to run smoothly on modern hardware.
