Runtime Error

Question

As soon as i click up the welcome screen to The Sims 3 (i click on the World Adventures pack), it comes up with runtime error R6025 - pure virtual function call, it also comes up with script error.

I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the World Adventures pack but nothing has changed.

Is there a simple solution?

I have a Windows 8.1 laptop and im from the UK if that helps

Seems to be Microsoft issue.
