saving difficultys

my sims were just about to get married when my sim cheated on her fiance right in front of him as i was saving, how do i go back to that save without having to go on my documents and all that?

    Unfortunately, you'll have to go back to a backup. However, it really is not that complicated.

    • Go to documents: electronicarts: sims3 : saves
    • Let's say your backup was called Save1.sims3.backup and your current save is Save2.sims3
    • Change the Save2.sims3 to something strange and weird like Sss333.
    • Change your Save1.sims3.backup to Save1.sims3
    • Run the game and your backup will be there
