If live chat is gray, change your country to US and make sure you're on US Business hours. It might also gray because they're very busy. Try later.

All I get when I do that is the email box. I've sent three emails and have yet to receive a reply.

Is your country set to US ? Do you not get the live chat option ?

Yes it is and no I don't.  The only option I get is email and that is apparently useless as they never respond.

Try a different browser then. Firefox works best for me. Also make sure you try during EA Business hours.
