Server Down

Hey, so today everything loaded and downloaded i was just patient, however now i cant log in through sims main menu or launcher, i changed my password and in ea it logs me in just fine, not in sims though. Password doesnt have special characters also. It tells me that either my email or password is wrong and im 100% sure its correct. I'm going to try live support now.

This sounds like the live support team will need to check over your account and be sure everything looks correct there- here on the forums we aren't able to access your account details to take a look.

Please submit a help request here so live support can look into this further. 

PrinceBlitzenJr​  Then it sounds like you're fine other than perhaps not having access to certain in-game features.  There's no reason you need these anyway, but I've flagged the residual login issues and will try to find out if there's anything you need to do on your end.

Me too!!! I've been trying to fix it for two hours now. Maybe EA is just down or something. I just bought a new world and deleted my save so I have to be online to download the new world. Ughhhhhhhh

It loads Normally until it gets to the part when you select household and I get you're not logged in message. Thank you and helping me. I continued without logging in. 

For me it refuses to log me into my ea account in sims3 main menu, yesterday the issues started because some downloads weren't downloaded and then i noticed i wasn't logged in and said that there was a network issue (i was signed in, in ea app but not sims??) so i looked online, said it could be a password issue, mod issue, cache, repair, and so far nothing has worked :')

I am also currently dealing with that issue, I've tried removing mods, clearing cache, repairs everything. I think there is an issue with the servers that we cant fix. I'm probably going to leave it for a few days and see if it resolves on its own. Good luck :)

PrinceBlitzenJr​  What happens when you press Play?  You don't actually need the launcher to load fully in order for the game to work.

If you can't play, or you do want to use some aspect of the launcher, try clearing Edge's Internet Explorer-mode data, as described towards the end of this article:

Try playing offline, and launching directly from The Sims 3 icon on your desktop.
