Sim stuck in hedge

It's my Sim's first day of work at the science lab in Sunset Valley. She takes the carpool to work. Briefly before it's time for her to start working, the work screen at the top left hand side of my computer screen disappears. I click on the lab and choose "Work", and the work screen appears for a few moments before disappearing again. I zoom in and see she has one leg in a hedge, and is complaining due to supposedly not being able to reach work. I click on the ground near the hedge, and she still complains about not being able to reach the destination. Then her work starts and I get a message saying my Sim is late to work. What can I do?

@TomT123456 Bring up the cheats console (ctrl-shift-C) and enter testingcheatsenabled true . Then shift-click on some spot of open ground (it can be right in front of the work entrance) and choose "Teleport Me Here."

If your sim or others are repeatedly getting stuck in the same section of hedge, you can edit the lot in Edit Town mode and delete that section of hedge.

If your sim or others are repeatedly getting stuck in the same section of hedge, you can edit the lot in Edit Town mode and delete that section of hedge.

Hi, Sins getting stuck is quite a common problem and while the solution given by puzzlezaddict is excellent for the given situation it will only work for active sims. If you have sims that are not members of the active family you will need to use resetsim cheat. Open the cheat console as described by puzzlezaddict and type 'resetsim' without the quotes and the sims full name. E.G. resetsim victoria andrews The said sim (in this case Victoria Andrews), will be returned home but safe. If, however, you don't know who it is. use 'resetsim' followed by a single asterisk, without the quotes. Note this will reset all sims in the game regardless of what they are doing at the time, so I suggest you wait until your active family is not doing anything you don't want them to stop doing until the task if complete.
