Sim3 Starter Pack Issue From humble bundle No 20 Digit serial key

Right, I'm not exactly sure what everybody else did but this is what I did and I've still not got my key. Tried to redeem using Origin App, No Luck! So I redeemed using the origin website (not thesims3.com) that worked and my games were showing in my origin library (but I didn't see a 20 digit key on the redemption screen!). I download The Sims 3 (Base Game) and the exspansions with no hitches, but when it comes to installing them its asking for the 20 digit serial code which I don't have! I dont know if EA's statment that they released relates to me or not? Will I be e-mailed a serial code or will it just magically appear in origin or will I not get one at all and it just be a waste of money?

Try to redeem the code again through the Origin client. If you get a "Code already used" error message it should be on your account and will show up there eventually.

Our tech team is already working to fix these issues.

Everyone who only has a 16-digits code showing up in the Origin client will get a 20-digits code eventually. But as I said, that may take some time. Usually the tech team implements a search & replace routine, which means that we will search for all Sims 3 base games that have only 16-digits codes and automatically replace them with 20-digits codes.

It takes time to develop and implement that feature on our end. After that it will take a good amount of time for the search routine to run through the accounts. There are a loooooot of people who have bought the Humble Bundle after all. 😕mileywink:

You have still not answered the question you quoted, robbienewton1 asked if the game will show up in origin to download, the answer you have given is that if the game is already showing up in origin the cd key needed to install the game will be updated to a 20-digit one.

We want to know if we have already redeemed the 16-digit code from HB on thesims3.com will get the game in our origin library.

Thanks for that. We are trying to do our best here. And the last time I checked, I was a human being and not a monkey (though I like monkeys, they are awesome!).

There were many humble bundles earlier, mainly for steam. I've never had such problems as now with your products. SHAME, SHAME, SHAME, EA!

Just woke up i see We have an EA rep telling us to wait. See its funny because I was on live chat last night and was explaining I needed a 20 digit key to the fact i already have my 16 digit key instead of telling me what this lovely EA rep has been telling us. They sent me to contact humble bundle and said to contact them again if I dont get anything back that helps me which i dont see what the point of that is unless i want another 15% off code for origin which i didnt take anway. I asked if there was a way he could look into my account to see if he would possibly see a 20 digit code to where as i see my 16 since hes on the better side of things he just keps saying the same thing. "I dont think you are understanding me there is technical issues with the codes please contact humble bundle support to get a 20 digit code after i told him multiple times i have already emailed them and recieved emails that were just auto replys saying something about paypal not working correctly which isnt the case" and i asked him directly i said what exactly are you guys going to do in 24 hours for me if i do not get this fixed, after he said I am certain it will be fixed they have sent out 7 thousand+ new codes for people or something stupid. Anyway when i tried to keep him talking to me to help me fix it he ended up just spamming his Thanks for contacting EA message please feel free to contact us again if you need help with anymore issues and disconnected while i was typing.i was rather annoyed at the situation i explained in multiple different ways so he could possible understand but it didnt work just the same nonsense about I dont think you understand -Random generic answer to why its a technical error- and contact humble support for they will help you. all I know is i am very frustrated and would just like to play my Sims 3 k thnks bye.

Thanks for this response do you have an ETA on when codes will be dispatched that would be amazing! or is this some nonsense and were going to get told later on that we need to contact support and be told to go back and forth from hymble and EA support to go to one another
