@middykitty4 If you recolor the terrain, does the change stick after you go to Map View and back again? Does the terrain look normal on higher graphics settings?
@puzzlezaddict Terrain recoloring doesn't show up in map view. And here's a screenshot of my settings. As far as I know, the higher settings don't change anything. It's as high as my computer can take without slowing down.

@middykitty4 Out of curiosity, does the ground also change color in Sunset Valley? Each world has its own lighting, and at least some of them have their own grass textures too. I'm wondering whether this is a problem with one particular texture or more global.
- 4 years ago@puzzlezaddict I’ve noticed it in Sunset Valley too, but not as much. Like only in a few spots. And the sand in Isla Paradiso turns brown when zoomed in also.

@middykitty4 Try turning up your graphics settings one at a time; if one setting doesn't help, you can lower it again when you raise the next one. Yes, this will affect performance, but it's worth trying to figure out whether any particular setting is involved.
If changing the settings doesn't help, please post the full specs of your Mac: everything under About This Mac except for the serial number.
Please also list a couple of lots where this happens—the world and either the address or the household or community lot name—that are NOT in Roaring Heights. (That's the only EA world I don't own, so I can't test it.) I'll mess with the settings in my own game and see what I get.
