@charlieallisonxo If OneDrive is running on this computer, please pause syncing before trying to play.
If that doesn't help, please create a new admin Windows account and try playing in that. Make it local, as in, don't use your Microsoft-linked email. You'll be able to sign into the EA App and (try to) launch Sims 3 without reinstalling anything, but your saves and other user data won't be available. That's fine for now; this is just a test.
