Sims 3 CAS Blacking Out
Hello! Recently I began playing sims 3 again and am having an issue when I enter create a sim. I begin creating my sim and the game works normally, but around the point of changing the clothing, clothes will begin not appearing on my sims when I select them, the other tabs in CAS won't respond, the blue background of the tabs will turn black and then the game just won't respond. I've tried restarting the game and turning my graphics down (Some other threads suggested that), but nothing has worked. I even tried creating my sim and skipping the clothes then editing their outfits later, but the same thing happens. Any suggestions are appreciated!!
Okay so today I actually went ahead and uninstalled my expansions and the base game, then I reinstalled the base and tried making the family and now it works just fine! I plan to reinstall my expansions later, so we'll see if I run into any more issues. Thanks for the help anyway!!
