Sims 3 CAS crashes
I'm a rather avid simmer, and I particularlary (I spelt that wrong, I realise) love CAS. However, ever since my laptop was reimaged I can't remain in CAS for five minutes before my entire game crashe...

Normally I'd say that your graphics chip is below specs and that your drivers are outdated but since you can play in live mode without issues, that migt not be the only reasons.
Are you saying this is a new laptop or is this the same one that you used before but it had to be set up again ?

When I say my laptop was re=imaged (did I say that, I can't remember now), it means that IT wiped my hardrive and reintalled everything that was in the Library, I had to reinstall all my games. ☹️
I'd already done the vast majority of what was in that thread which is what's irritating me becauase I've cleaned all my caches, removed the mod folder, created the "backup" Sims 3 Folder in docs etc. I'll take another look at the thread afterwards and post whether it works... Not sure if it will, but hey, worth a shot.
