Sims 3 CAS crashes
I'm a rather avid simmer, and I particularlary (I spelt that wrong, I realise) love CAS. However, ever since my laptop was reimaged I can't remain in CAS for five minutes before my entire game crashe...

Normally I'd say that your graphics chip is below specs and that your drivers are outdated but since you can play in live mode without issues, that migt not be the only reasons.
Are you saying this is a new laptop or is this the same one that you used before but it had to be set up again ?

I tried and it still crashed in the CAS. 😕mileysad: I love CAS so much but I can't even use it without the entire game crashing. Please tell me you have another idea?
Did you lower your settings ? Update drivers ?
Can't tell you what's different now but maybe your graphic chip just can't handle the stress anymore.
Do you have all expansions ?
Dell advertises that computer as a business computer - at no time it says gaming. Your dedicated video memory is 64mb and the minimum requirement for this game is 128mb. Yes it may work but may stop working at any time.
Wouldn't my video memory interfere with actual gameplay - not CAS? Besides, two weeks ago, before this laptop was wiped, everything was perfectly fine. My game worked and I could be in CAS for a good 40 minutes at a time.
Should I uninstall Into the Future and see if it fixes then? I'd prefer not to as it worked perfectly well with all the content I previously had beforehand.
