Sims 3 Cheats are not working

    Good news for me,

    I deleted the the Bubbles Sim family.

    Restarted the game, then made a new Bubbles family.

    Now the cheats work just like they are supposed to.

    I guess it was some kind of glitch with that sim game file?

Hi @X1962X,

Which is the family name of the household in which you are trying to use the cheat? Keep in mind you need to use the name of the family, not the surname of the selected sim.

Also, have you tried with different games and families?

PS: EA is not against you using mods, as long as they respect our Terms of Service. Hacks to play a game you have not payed for are obviously not allowed. Let me know if you need further explanation on this.

    The family name is Bubbles.

    One male Sim, named "Mike Bubbles" and his 4 dogs, two of which are offspring.

    here is how i'm using the cheat

    familyFunds Bubbles 555555 then hit enter. when I hit enter, it closes the console.

    I have tried the familyFunds cheat with another family I haven't played for months.

    Its family name is Gump. The cheat familyFunds didn't work on it either.

    Note: I have used the familyFunds cheat on that family when I first placed them.
