Sims 3 clothing bug
Hi! I don’t know if people still play on sims 3 but I’ve recently stumbled upon a bug of some kind when my sim enters or leave the house. Example: she’s off to work, she gets in the carpool car, then...
EDIT: For more info I have:
* tried to move out the household, saved that household delete the old house and replaced that house with a copy and then placed the saved household and played with them and nothing changed.
• started a whole new game with a new household and that new sim also changed clothes from daily wear all the way to outdoor outfit.
I don’t know much about patches but I’ve noticed that some of my downloaded content doesn’t have the same quality as before (some hairstyles have bald spots here and there where they worked before.) although those problems I have had for a while and it didn’t affect my game.
@Lewlle Try playing in a clean user folder, as in, move the entire Sims 3 folder out of Documents > Electronic Arts and onto your desktop in order to let the game generate a new folder. Start with a new household and add your NRaas mods, but nothing else; don't change any mod settings either. If the same problem happens with these sims, let me know what jobs they started with, then change to different jobs and test again.
Thank you! I will try that and get back to you. I need to ask first: what will happen to all the store bought downloads? I do believe my game would need a fresh start but since there is a problem with that right now it feels a little scary that I might not be able to install them right back again. For some reason all my purchased worlds shows up except for hidden springs but I’m scared to lose them if I remove that whole folder.
@Lewlle Your content will all be intact in the folder you've moved, and if you were to restore that folder, the content would show up again. But don't move anything over right now; the point is to test with absolutely no added content. NRaas mods are fine because of how extensively they've been tested and the fact that they fix errors rather than adding any.
