I have all the sims 3 on discs but what to download it on origin on my new mac...

@ruanrgoosen You may have already redeemed the codes, either in Origin or on the old Sims 3 site ( www.thesims3.com or store.thesims3.com ). In that case, your content will already be in the Origin game library of that account—Origin and the old Sims 3 site share information.
By the way, if your Mac runs Catalina, you won't be able to install or play Sims 3. The game is a 32-bit app, and Catalina is 64-bit only. I wrote a more thorough reply here:

- 6 years ago@puzzlezaddict this is amazing advice thank you
sims 3 works well on my PC computer at my parents' place... it sometimes glitches out and the game closes... which I still need advice on fixing plzz..
but I'm currently stuck in my apartment and thought it would be fun to play sims 3 here- puzzlezaddict6 years agoHero+
@ruanrgoosen I've merged your new post with your earlier thread; it's easier to keep all the info in one place.
Are you still stuck on the installing part? Are you able to download the game and your packs? If so, please list the packs you've installed, and any you'd like to install but haven't yet. Please also let me know exactly what error you're seeing—you can take a screenshot if it's easier.

I've had the same issue, although some of my packs are on origin from the sims 3 website, half of them are not included which causes issues for me as those are the packs that I loved to play

@laurehermes Does your computer run Windows or macOS, and do you have disc copies of the packs that are missing from Origin?
