Sims 3 Crashes when loading SPECIFIC Family
I currently have 3 other families which all load fine. I have one family in Bridgeport which crashes with an error message saying to either close the program or go online to find a solution before closing. (I've clicked 'find a solution' and there's no solution.) The crash happens as soon as the loading bar for the family is full or just about.
I have gone online and have looked up solutions but none of them have fixed the problem.
1. Deleting cache files
2. Renaming The Sims to The Sims3 backup. and then loading the game and transferring my families folder from Saves
3. Uninstalling the game and then reinstalling it.
4. Installing a patch for the game.
5. Changing game settings to low to attempt opening Bridgeport family.
6. Installing a cleaner for the Sims 3
Another factor which I'm not sure has anything to do with it is the SCRAPBOOK for MEMORIES. On my last play, I got a message saying that one of my Sims memories was full and that she would no longer be able to save memories. Would this have something to do with it? I do realize you can delete scrapbook memories while in game play one by one but is there any way to do this outside of the game with the Sims 3 Folder?
