Sims 3 custom sliders not working outside of CAS

Hello, I have a problem with my custom content sliders in TS3. They show up on my sims in CAS, but when I go into live mode, they don't and only the base game sliders are on my sims' faces. It's really annoying as I hate the pudding looking faces that most sims have, using CC sliders is my personal solution. I've tried literally everything! Deleting cache, removing the sliders and adding them again, starting a new game... you name it. Is there a possible solution to this??
