Sims 3 EA App (Disc Codes)
Hey all, forgive me if this is a ridiculous question. I have had the Sims 3 for a very long time I had it initially installed on Origin w/ disc codes and then switched to a new computer. When I did this it eventually became the EA app and I wanted to reinstall my Sims 3 game. My base game saved and I think maybe one or two of my packs but, I had to either reenter codes or buy completely new packs for a big chunk of them. I then ended up buying a code off of the app as well. If I got A new PC would these all save to my EA app? Or would I have to repurchase all of them, because some of them are disc codes? Saturn_SEB I apologize for the late reply. It looks like your post was moved to this subforum (Sims 3 tech) after the fact and was immediately buried by newer threads.
To answer your question, anything that appears as owned in your EA App library now should also appear as owned on a new computer, as long as you sign into the same EA account. This is true no matter how you bought the game. So please check now, under Sims 3 > Manage > Manage add-ons.
Sims 3 Store worlds need to be installed through the Store site ( store.thesims3.com ), so sign into your EA account there and check your purchase history, or the worlds' product pages.
