Sims 3 Ensure Your Internet Connection.

Hi, So today i tried to install the sims 3 + world adventures onto my new macbook air 2017 (13 inch) . I've updated to macOS Mojave version 10.14.4 And i've tried a couple of things, but nothing ...

    I fixed the problem myself.
    followed your steps with the paul.dll file for the base game + world adventures. That worked for the base game + world adventures.
    After that i installed ambitions.
    Then i got the ''unknown error'' from the base game.
    I went into the applications folder.
    I copied The Sims 3 Ambitions folder from: the sims 3/contents/resources/addons/the sims 3 ambitions/contents/resources/transgaming/c_drive/program files/electronic arts/ I copied that folder.
    Then i went into the applications folder again.
    The Sims 3/The Sims 3/contents/resources/transgaming/c_drive/program files/electronic arts/ i pasted Ambitions into there.
    And it worked again!
    Going to try other expansions too.

@puzzlezaddict so i uninstalled the sims 3 + world adventures. And installed it again, now when i try to launch the base game only it gives me the same message..
