I hope that this will work. I know that it can be tedious.
I apologize for not posting the results of my attempts to purge my game of errors and glitches prior to this. I deleted all of my saves, saved sims, and mods, but still, I receive "error code 12" after performing the simplest of tasks in game. I do not have the time to reinstall each of my expansion packs one by one, but if I am ever able to do so, I shall try. I find it ridiculous what I must go through in order to make my game function as it should have in the first place. I definitely will not be purchasing " the Sims 4". That I can assure you. Thank you for your time, though. It is kind of you to try and help simmers overcome these problems caused by EA.
